Hi, I’m Verka!
I’ve spent 12+ years helping professionals learn German. I’ve taught in schools, language schools, and large companies — and along the way I found the methods that actually work.
My secret? I’m not a native speaker. I learned German from zero, just like you. I know the frustration of memorising adjective endings and still freezing in a real meeting.
Because I’ve walked this path myself, I’m a little obsessed with what really works. I constantly test new methods and modern tools so my students reach their goals faster. Learning German isn’t rocket science — find the right method and you’ll be unstoppable.
Kind words
What my students say
I came to Verka wanting to bring my German back to life after a long break. … After just a few weeks, I could genuinely feel my confidence growing — not just during our sessions, but in how I approached German in my everyday life. … I went on to have multiple job interviews conducted entirely in German — and I’m thrilled to say I received a job offer in a country where German is the dominant language of the workplace.

Before joining the program, I struggled with speaking spontaneously and often overthought every sentence. … Thanks to Veronika’s supportive and encouraging approach, I made great progress. … The ability to send voice messages at my own pace made the process very flexible and stress-free. … The constructive feedback I received was always kind, insightful, and actionable.

I ended up taking one-on-one sessions with her and I’m so glad I did. She was always on time, well-prepared, and truly present during our lessons. … What really sets Verka apart is her ability to sense the mood of her students and adapt her teaching style accordingly. … Instead of pushing through the material she had planned, we just had a relaxed conversation about everyday life (in German of course!) and that flexibility made such a difference.

Who is this for?
If at least 3 of these sound like you, my method is for you.
So many of my students come to me with exactly this. It’s completely logical — if you’re not in a German-speaking environment, you get far fewer chances to practise speaking. Some also carry bad memories of language learning: the wrong method, or the wrong chemistry with a teacher.
Most people studied German years ago, maybe passed an exam, and haven’t used it since — so it feels gone. It isn’t: what you learned thoroughly just became passive. You simply need to reactivate it, which goes faster than you’d think with the right method.
A common goal. Here what matters most is practising the exam tasks thoroughly — not necessarily active fluency, but how routinely you handle the task types. And practising them naturally grows your grammar and vocabulary too.
Totally normal — comprehension develops before active use. People living in a German-speaking country pick up speaking quickly because they have to. If you don’t, it develops more slowly — so meet the language as often as you can, through many senses: listening, reading, speaking.
Most of us are busy; it’s hard to fit in several hours a week. Think about when you could learn while you’d be waiting anyway, or split it into small chunks. On a commute you can listen to a podcast or audiobook, or learn words — you can do a lot in 10–15 minutes.
